Single Component Acrylic Based Pigmented Primer
hahne PrimeStick-AR is a single-component, water-based pigmented primer specially designed for sealing the porosity of concrete and masonry surfaces and improving adhesion of subsequent elastomeric waterproofing coatings. It provides excellent penetration and bonding to absorbent as well as selected nonabsorbent substrates, forming a smooth, uniform and matt primed surface.
Area of Applications
▪ Priming of concrete and masonry surfaces prior to application of acrylic waterproofing membrane.
▪ Exterior RCC surfaces, including sloping roofs.
▪ Masonry walls and facades.

Surface Preparation
▪ The substrate must be dry, clean and free from grease, tar, oil, dust and loose particles.
▪ Repair or remove weak, loose or poorly bonded areas and ensure the substrate is suitable for priming.
Application
▪ Stir hahne PrimeStick-AR thoroughly before application.
▪ Apply a thin, uniform coat by brush or suitable spray equipment over the prepared substrate.
▪ Allow the primer to dry, or until the solvent has evaporated and the primer is dry.
▪ Apply hahne AR-SEAL or hahne AR-SEAL PREMIUM waterproofing coating directly over the primed
substrate after the primer has dried.
