PRIM UG - P is a versatile, solvent-free primer designed for both absorbent and non-absorbent substrates, including large-format tiles on calcium sulfate screeds. It can be applied either diluted with water or undiluted, offering flexibility based on specific project requirements. The pigmented formulation enhances workability, providing better control during application. Its low-odor composition ensures a more comfortable working environment. Suitable for both interior and exterior applications, PRIM UG - P promotes excellent adhesion and ensures a durable bond between substrates and subsequent layers.

Treatment

Substrate Preparation

Ensure the surface is dry, level, clean, stable, and absorbent
Remove any adhesion-reducing residues, efflorescence, or sintered layers

Mixing & Preparation

Shake well before use

Application

Apply evenly using a roller, brush, or sprayer
Avoid puddling for an even coat
For cementitious substrates, dilute with clean water in a 1:1 to 1:3 ratio
Use undiluted on calcium sulphate screeds, dry screeds, plasterboard, and gypsum fibreboard
Highly absorbent surfaces may require a second "fresh-on-fresh" coat

Drying & Hardening

Cement substrates: 2-3 hours drying time
Gypsum substrates: 6-8 hours drying time
Drying time varies depending on temperature, humidity, and substrate absorbency
